Q&A — Court of Appeal

The Court of Appeal is accepting filings in all matters. As of May 4, 2020, the Court of Appeal will begin hearing all appeals, including those that aren't urgent, by videoconference using the Zoom platform, unless otherwise directed. All chambers applications and registrar’s appointments will be heard by teleconference or in writing. Further information is available in the Court of Appeal’s updated notice of April 29, 2020. See also this flowchart of the appeal process with notes added to help you understand what's changed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you're a self-represented litigant, Access Pro-Bono has a dedicated appeals program. Contact Heather Wojcik 604-424-8286.
