Understanding Aboriginal Child Protection/Removal Matters
This fact sheet describes in plain language what Aboriginal parents and their communities can do in Aboriginal child protection cases.
BC law says that:
- if any child is at risk, they must be removed from their home, and
- Aboriginal cultural ties are important to the well-being of Aboriginal children.
The fact sheet also provides space for parents to write down the important details of their case.
